End of the Joyride; McFarlane Scoops Halo
When I was researching a Halo marketing story, I couldn’t find a working link to Joyride Studios (as you see the link takes you elsewhere), known as the makers of Gamepro Action Figures and the Halo toyline. Last week, Bungee announced Todd McFarlane designed Halo 3 controllers, which will come with little Mini-Master-Chiefs, myself, as well as every toy geek out there, probably came to the unshocking conclusion that “Mcfarlane is going to make Halo 3 toys”.
It only took a week for McFarlane Toys to announce the Halo 3 Action Figures.
The line-up will include the following action figures:
- Master Chief
- Brute Chieftan
- Cortana
- Jackal Sniper
- Grunt (2-pack)
As well as three vehicles:
- Warthog
- Ghost
- Brute Chopper
The figures are not expected to be released until Spring 2008, long after the release of Halo 3 for Xbox, in September 2007. Read more details on Spawn.com.
