Paul Anderson to Adapt Castlevania for the Big Screen
Variety reports Crystal Sky Pictures has purchased the rights to the popular Konami video game franchise Castlevania and has selected Paul W.S. Anderson (Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil, Alien vs. Predator) to adapt and direct the feature.
According to Cinescape the story will center on the origins of Dracula and the uprising of his nemesis, the Belmont Clan. The film will go into production in the middle of 2006.
